We came across Pizzarito, a New York style pizzeria sandwiched in the Marina Marketplace shopping center of Marina del Ray, on the last day we were in Culver City for E3 2018.


The pizza was pre-made, and thrown in the oven after ordering.
There was a curious burn taste in the crust on both of my pieces. The crust certainly wasn’t burned though. I can only compare it to smoke flavoring, and I don’t know if it was intentional or not. But it tasted great to me (I do enjoy a few meals blackened or slightly burned).
(Also, that is two pieces laid on top of each other, not one and a half pieces.)
